Whats up guys I just got my car back 3 days ago and I need help using my afc II. If anyone isnt busy today I could use some help. I'm in the NewBrunswick area....just hit me up 732-207-9201 my name is Leron.

I need the instructions for the afc II.....I havent drove this car in over 2 yrs and have no idea how to work the afc.

The car makes absolutley no boost...when it tries to make boost it "studders" and goes nowhere. I'm guessing fuel cut or a boost leak.....help.

i think its your settings playing some kinda role into that problem. My bro got 650cc and 2g mass so i can take a look at it and post these settings for ya.He got his car tuned not that long ago,and the guys adjusted AFC Neo really good

Let me know if you need those settings iight

If you have 650's and a 255 pump do this:

With your car at idle, pull the vacuum line off your AFPR and turn the fuel pressure to 43.5psi (Then put the line back on). Then get in the car and play with these settings. They must be at : 4 cylinder, arrow facing northeast (up/right), sensor type is KARMAN. Set your TH points in 1,000 rpm intervals (or 500 rpm intervals if you have SAFC2). Set your TH to be 30% and 80%. Then put your LOW settings at -20 across all RPMs and the same on HI.

Post back.

I forgot I dont have a fuel presure gauge so I dont know if its at 43.5. But I'ma try those settings rite now.

Thanx for the settings guys. The car runs/idles alittle better but still no boost. I need a gauge so I can set the fuel pressure at 43.5. But my gut is tellin me I might need a new bov/gasket. I got a 1g on right now so I'ma shop around for a better bov.

The most boost I made was prob 3psi. When the rpms reach 3 grand the car starts "studdering".....its happened in 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th.

When the engine is cold, pull the intake pipe off and check your turbo for damage. Oh, you NEED to get a fuel pressure gauge ASAP. For all you know you can be running 20psi base FP or 60psi base FP OMG

I hope my turbo isnt damaged.....that thing is brand new! I got my car back from Trix on thursday. Will a b&m gauge fit on a weapon-r afpr? Because thats what I gave them but when I got my car back, no gauge?

If anyone is in reasonable distance with one I'll take it off your hands right now.

for how long you have your AFC installed?? or you just installed it? btw i live like 30 min from New Brunswick but my car is without a tranny right now :( i deff would come and try to help you ot but.... i cant

hmm sound like some messed up wiring,my brother had that problem when he installed his AFC Neo,He couldnt rev past 3k,the car was bogging like crazy, then we did some reinstallation and after that it was good.U said you took your car back from Trix, what they were doing to it?

I just got a six bolt swap. Hmmmm a problem with the afc could be possible but I also just ordered a gauge for the afpr to see if thats also a possible problem.

Maybe your right.....but I dont know where to begin as far as the wiring of the afc.

If turbotrix did install the afc take it back to them to recheck the wiring.

my brother is runing 255 Walboro without FPR.he had tuned by turbotrix and made 370 Horses.i dont think your FPR has to do anything about your current problem

Oi, you should know better Mr. Russian guy :|;) 2 things to correct in your statement: a 255 with no AFPR WILL OVERRUN. There is no doubt about that and it DOES affect performance, whether you feel it or not. Think of it as, hey your brother dyno'd at 370, he could have been at 380 just by fixing his ovverun problem. Correct 2, turbotrix uses a dynojet (or something of the like) and they put there dyno on 'shootout mode' all of the time to get fluffy numbers. No offense, I just wanted to clear that up.

If turbotrix did install the afc take it back to them to recheck the wiring.

Just got back from Trix.......they said it was prob a boost leak so they did a boost leak test. Turns out I had a hole on my 1g flange so they welded it shut.....they took it for a spin and it helped alittle but still no boost. I told them either the afc isnt wired right or I'm just running too rich. They said come in on thurs. My question is will the afc come on even if its not wired up right? Someone help me I wanna get this thing boostin !

Damn Kid Im glad it wasnt your front mount that had a boost leak. As long as the AFC is getting a power source it will turn on. Its weird to me at least because it shows rpm and other info correctly. This is really frustrating though.
