I don't think I'd be comfortable taking that above 7500... if that. But, as stated, it could be cool on the street with a mid-sized turbo that it could spool quickly.

IIRC you end up losing around 500 rpm to a 100mm crank as far as piston speeds are concerned which isn't a huge deal. It might not be worth it in the end for that ~10% increase in motor size though.
