It seems during the pulling of the head on my 1G that the EGR Temp sensor had the wires pulled out of it. Oops.

So, if I leave it unpluged will I have any driveability problems? Also I assume that it will throw a check engine light, anyway around this?

I'm trying to get around paying $50 for one.

Thanks

sorry to bring up an old thread, but at hey, at least i know how to use the search button right??

well anyways, the same thing happened to me, and i havent got a cel or anything yet, but my car does idle rough and high? could it possibly be because of the egr sensor having pulled wires??? also, my a/f ratio gauge is reading very lean. does this have something to do with it also???
and how much am i looking to spend on a brand new egr sensor???? or would a junkyard be a better option??
