Ebay 16G Install Help

First post, need help, I was reading about the Ebay 16G turbo and after some debate I finally bought it and it came with the kit to do the SS oil line rerouting to the Oil filter hosing it also came with just about everything to complete the install, gaskets new bolts, etc. Now the vehicle it is going in had the stock 14b but a tubular manifold, my problem is the kit for the rerouting came with separate bolts and they do not fit into the holes on the turbo in fact the only bolt that fits there I only got one, I verified that everything was complete but do I have to tap and die the holes or can I just go to the Hardware store and pick up some bolts that fit, anyone with experience or who had the same kit lend me hand please otherwise I will just use the stock oil inlet off the head with the old oil line. just pick up some grade 8 bolts that will fit from a hardware store.
i'm trying to figure out though why the bolts not fitting with the tubular manifold have anything to do with which oil line you are going to use.

hold on... i had to read your post a few times but are you missing some fluid supply/return bolts? is that what the problem is?

Sorry, I am being confusing. The bolts that do not fit are the one that go into the turbo OIL Supply side (top side).

The kit was supplied with a stainless steel line and the piece in the picture (silver oval shaped thing with a fitting coming out the top) the bolts to screw this to the turbo are to big. SO can I tap or get new bolts.

that piece looks like they want you to use as an adapter for the oil feed line at th etop of the turbo. you don't need it. get a banjo fitting that screws into one end of the feed line and use the original banjo bolt from the old original oil feed line to attach it to the turbo.

i've never seen a kit come like that one does, with an original style feed line and a stainless steel one. you could temporarily just use the original style line to get on the road until you source the proper fittings for the stainless line.

Just a sidenote on the J-pipe bolts, the j-pipe allen bolts that come with the ebay turbos actaully have a larger diameter thread than most 8mm that come with the MHI turbos or even ones found at hardware stores.

If you try to use other 8mm allen bolts from the hardware store or MHI bolts it may strip the compressor housing threads.

Don't mean to be rude but what in God's name would possess you enough to purchase an ebay 16g???? The fact that it's 400 cheaper than the quality ones should be enough warning in itself. Some things are too good to be true.

Put it in with the original line this weekend.

And I bought this because the one on there which looks like the same Td05 from Ebay had serious shaft play after a while and was eating up the fins.

But I bought it because of one, lack of funds, 350 versus 700 when you have to go to school, seems good, also there is an ongoing forum in the turbo section about this turbo and the majority of people seem to have success with it.

But the install went well every thing bolted up with no trouble, I took the spark plug wires out and cranked the engine over a few times, to prime it I know this is not recommend but I could not fine the fuse to take out which ever one it is.

I would really like to be able to run the stainless steel line though to the oil filter housing instead of coming off the head, I see people cutting original line and using hose clamps that does not look too safe to me, any suggestion on that.

if you want a stainless feed line, the easiest thing to do is order a kit from one of the vendors on here for a 1G. otherwise, you can use the line you have and just get the proper banjo fittings for it from a hydraulic sypply store and the block off plug for the head from mitsu. the plug is the same one they use on 2G heads or 1g n/t 2.0 cars.
