Sucks, as I was waiting on this turbo and really wanted to take advantage of these great savings

Robert any chance you can help out on that so I can get in on the group buy?

If you want a recirculated housing you can always do what I did/others do, buy their external dump setup & just take the installed setup to your local custom exhaust shop & have them cut a hole in the downpipe & weld in a piece to recirculate the dump. IMO this is better then a recirculated O2 housing for a couple reasons. First the FP recirculated housing won't fit with a stock AC fan (according to a local member with the setup), second you can play around with the dump tube angle to get the most clearance for your setup & also with the dump tube recirculated further down in the downpipe, it doesn't create turbulance right after the turbine wheel, like a recirculated O2 housing does.

thanks for that info. Now another question is how would this turbo compare to the FP Red? How fast does the Red spool on a built 2.0 with 8.5-1 compression? Can the red be a street driven turbo? thanks all for your help.
Compared to the FP red, this turbo would be much quicker spooling. Depending on mods I would expect a 3500-4000 spool on a 2L for this turbo while the red would be much higher. IIRC a local member running a red with 9-1 comp hit full boost ~5500 rpms.
