I tried having like 3 meets here in Lafayette, about 2 years ago or so. But noone wanted tou show up. Like 3 or four guys from lafayette. So i quit trying.

yea, I don't feel the LA DSM community is as strong as some other places... it's quite sad to be honest.

Well I got rid of my 2g DSM's (2) and now I have a 2002 Lincoln LS but I'd still love to see guys (and gals) cars as I'm still a fan and love the scene!

I'm in Covington 99% of the time if anyone gets anything going on lemme know!

Hey now! It's not alllllllllllllll about location!
Yah, but down in Covington theres noone here DSM wise and I'm about to start looking for another first gen. I gotta do something to shut these other kids up.

It mostly about location but alot about money. Most people around La can't pay for the cars to be fixed or modded. I have a 90 talon tsi with everything under the hood new. and a little bitty 5031e bolted to it. May be wanting to sell it but it is not finished. It runs and drives but needs fuel and tune.

I live in shreveport/bossier city and as soon as i get my clutch and my new intercooler ill be wanting to drive and hang out with some dsm guys and I have a friend whi is selling his 91 talon awd with a 16g for 4-5 thousand.

I used to live in Buras, right above Boothville. Yes that area blows, haha. Don't have my Talon anymore due to the storm. Before the storm there were quite a few dsm's in Kenner. Every Sunday night when we'd go out to Haynes\Michoud there were quite a few out there also. I live in westwego now, don't have my dsm, and dunno what the scene's like now days Would def. like to get another dsm in the future.

I'm his friend that used to have the 2g Talon that he talks about from time to time haha.
What's your plans for your DSM because I've built/helped build a couple.
