are they actually roller bearings at the end of the shafts? not the end toward the engine, but the opposite end. they seem to look like huge skate bearings, so figured they would be bb style bearings. they are encased by shields. so if roller or not, they cant escape. all of the end shaft bearings are in place. thats why i cant understand this, all bearings are there with nothing missing, it seems like. these two loose bb's are a little over a quarter of and inch. something i wouldnt think would be in there, they seem too small for anything. are there any bearings that could get loose from the actual shaft itself, like underneath the gears or what not?

i count six bearings, two on each shaft, input, output; two in diffs. the cold side of the input, output, im not sure if they're ball or roller
