You get the idea from the title. I installed my new suspension KYB AGX / Eibach pro kit springs Rear sway bar camber kit.....blah blah blah.

I finally put the car down on the ground and now my ass end is sitting a little more then a 1/2 inch lower then my front. I haven't driven the car yet, ### i'm waiting on a few parts.

I've played around with the settings on the shocks, but no luck.

Any ideas?

Do rear AGXs for 1Gs have a welded-on lower perch? If not, then could they be like Konis, with more than one location for the ring that holds the erch on the shock?

ps. FYI: shock settings have zero effect on static ride height

Yes they are welded. And i figured the settings wouldn't change it but it was worth a shot.

That is Normal in my opinion. I have AGX's and Pro Kit on my 2G GST and my rear end sits a little bit lower than my front. After awhile you start to like it. I get compliments from people ALL the time. The only thing I forgot to put in when I did mine was the Spring Insulator Pad, goes on the top of the spring and underneath the "Top Hat" So I will be "redoing" my struts but it won't make much of a difference in height maybe a 1/2 inch.

I look at my car a little further and i believe its because my alignment is so off.

The rear tires are sitting up on an angle making the car look like its lower then it is. Luckly i got the camber kit and everything i need to fix it. I just have to take it somewhere to have it done, but like i said i haven't driven the car so i more then likely woulda figured that out after a few miles LoL

Given the name of the forum, please let me point out that a DSM handles a lot better with the nose lower than the rear. You want to keep the rear roll center high, while you also want the front lower control arms level with the ground.

An excellent point that is not stressed enough, I feel.
So while I may have uneven ride heights, I do, however, have my nose lower than the rear end and I've used it to my advantage during daily driving conditions, believe it or not.

I am confident the way my car behaves when making rapid sharp lane changes @60- 70mph is due in part to the point Jtoby is making. It really freaked me out the first time I had to make an emergency dodge at speed. The car seemed to react slow and sluggish until a certain point where the weight shift was made and the car shot to the other lane before I knew it.
My stock suspension wouldn't have been so agile. But I was also freaked cause I over corrected 3 times during that event. And let me tell you, fearing you're going to pull the car up on 2 wheels is freaky at highway speeds.

But sketchy driving stories aside, my alignment is fine, not flawless, but Jtoby himself said I was good to go.
