Ok, so i searched he forums and concluded that, no one has any good pictures of there translator installation. So, me and my budy hooked up the maf-t the way it shows in the book and also on the forums, however, we went to turn the car on and nothing happened. We reset the Ecu and the red and green light came on like its suppose to. But i think we tapped the wrong wire for the translator. I read somewhere that its the thinner of the two balck wires on the CAS, but they both look the same to us. Can anyone help us out. This is a 91 laser with a epromed ecu. The ecu is not from my car, but its works correctly. Please help immediately.:thumb: :thumb:

Thanks

White wire to the CAS, and you're right, the thinner black wire. However that won't stop it from running, that connection only affects the contoured corrections and unless you are trying to tune huge injectors shouldn't be an issue. A no start condition usually stems from a bad MAF, or not getting the connections right on the mactory maf connector. Something about a pink wire. It's been years since I installed mine.

tha translator connector connects directly to the factory mas harness. make sure you have the PINK wire from the translator plug matching up with the RED wire on the mas plug.
