Everywhere I have looked, I read that aem ems is for m/t only. I have a 97 talon a/t. I would love to go this route over dsmlink. I dont see why it would make a differance since the trans has its own ecu. Any tips or advice gladly appreciated. This car will be making 700+hp. Thanks

Why don't you call or e-mail AEM. I don't see why you cannot run the EMS on your car. I know of cars using it with a IPT auto trans with no problems.

Also, here is a link to the AEM forum where you can ask questions directly with AEM moderators to help you answer anything AEM EMS related: http://forum.aempower.com/forum/index.php

You definitely need to check with AEM. There's some issue with getting the EMS to work with the stock TCU that causes problems. One guy a few years ago got it work (don't remember his name), but he said it was very difficult.
