During the installation of my Greddy Type RS blow off valve I noticed the stock recirculation pipe was not going to be long enough to attach to my Injen air intake. Here are the steps I did to complete the installation of my own recirculation pipe as well as all the materials needed. The materials I used were under $15.00 and I found all of them at my local O'Riely's Auto Parts store.
Here are all the materials I used -
~ (1) 7.5" Flex Hose
~ (2) Hose Clamps
~ (1) Type RS BOV Adaptor
~ Philips Head or Slotted Screw Driver
First step in the installation was to attach the BOV Adaptor to the Blow Off Valve. It simply screws into the BOV.
The next step is to connect and clamp the Flex Hose to the Injen Air Intake.
The third step is to connect and clamp the Flex Hose to the BOV.
Here is the finished result of the install.
I found this to be a very cost effective and easy way to update (or replace in my case) the factory recirculation pipe for under $15.00. The Flex Hose used in my installation has a spring coiled inside it to prevent the hose from kinking. It was a simple install to do and took all of 10-15 minutes to finish. If you have any questions or comments on this install, please shoot me an E-Mail or a PM.
