okay my bro wants to build his engine its a 6 bolt 4g63t, wht rod/piston/ and ring combo

thank you nick

I cant think of a company that makes bad pistons and rods call up a distributor and have them recomend a few brand combinations

I personally went through slowboyracing and got weisco pistons on scat rods and come with arp bolts. cost me around 700 if i remember right.

I love my ross pistons and my crower rods. It all depends on what power you are wanting. I went with ross/crower because if I want to go bigger I feel that I'm ok as far as my block goes.

Im going with Crower I-Beams, and Ross Racing pistons (8.5:1 CR) in my 2.3L. That set-up is good to about 800hp, I should be making nearly 600whp or a little more on my set-up (not bench racing, based upon someone else on the site who made 530whp on same set-up on 22psi, but I will be running 30psi). If going past that mark, and don't mind popping the block open a couple times per year Groden Alum. rods, and Ross Racing pistons. Also a good set-up if your not going to surpass 500hp is Scat H-beams, and Wiseco or Ross Racing pistons.
