My engine light came on, i retrieved the code, and it points to the oxygen sensor. I just replaced it less than 2 years ago..........

is the o2 sensor going bad?
or is my a/f ratio outta wack and it trips the engine light?
no that the light came on, how long can this o2 sensor last?

Well if it has been about 2 years ago and your throwing an O2 code, then I would say that its your O2 sensor. 2 years is a little longer then average for aftermarket O2s to last on these cars.

hey sry to bring up an old thread but didnt wanna start a new one when there aer already enough 02 sensor threads, but i have a question, my o2 sensor is out and im looking to replace it with a Denso, on sparkplugs.com 1997 talon tsi is cheaper than the 1997 eclipse GST the tsi O2 #= 234-4076 and the GST 02#=234-4026 is there really a difference between the GST and TSI because the TSI is hella cheaper thanx and im looking to order quickly so ne response would help :thumb:
thanx

edit: yea nm the 4076 number is for ESI they kept the same number for front base, esi and tsi :notgood:
