i cant figure why my car is doing this. this is what its doing, it wont go into gear unless my car is off. and the clutch pedal is to the floor.even when i could drive it i still had to put the pedal to the floor. ive tried everything. fidanza flywheel with dxd kvlar clutch with new tb. extended sl. cy. rod. new slave. new master and i bled the piss out of it. my pedal assemlbly has no play. when i changed the master i adjusted the rod as far as it would go to the end. When i first got the car it had a act 2600 in it. it would like to grind a little goin into 3RD sometimes. i had to push the pedal to the floor then too. i never have been able to shift fast at all and it disturbes me very greatly. can anybody give me some advice. me and everybody i ask are stumped.
 
So you've replaced everything that you could think of that deals with the clutch?
Have you thought of the release fork or bearing? It seems like a shot in the dark, but sometimes you do hit things.
 
i guess it could be the fork but i doubt it is b/c i had the trans out like a month ago and it looked fine. i dont think ive bent it b/c i used to to have a 2600 but now i have a dxd and the pressure isnt as intense on the pedal. cant be the bearing its brand new. the only way i can get into gear is to shut my car off with the pedal to the floor. ive always had to put the pedal to the floor when i shifted. it sucks. when i have it in gear with the pedal to the floor i start my car and it takes off. Whats Wrong?!!!
 
Have you rewelded the linkage on the pedal assembly itself? I havent had this problem but I have read about this problem before. I think it might have been on rre's site, but I dont remember at the moment. Im sure its worth looking into before you throw more $/parts at it without knowing the cause.

The same thing happened to me about a year ago. I also repalced everything, even welded the clutch pedal assembly. My problem was the pedal assembly. You mentioned there's no play in the pedal. It might be that the pedal isn't sitting @ the right angle in conjunction with the lever attached to the master cylinder. It's a pain to remove the assembly, but that might be your problem. Check it out.
 
does anybody have any pics of this, and can someone give me some info on exactly how to do this "procedure"? OMG

I want to say no. For some reason, I thought I read something was different about the n/t assembly, but I can't find the documentation. I still say just pull out the old assembly, then get it welded up, just like in the 1st link. If you need pictures, let me know. I still have my assembly out of the car.
 
more pics could help since ive never done anything like this b4.im goin to having a friend help me with this since im "unexpierienced" with this kind of stuff. did i spell that right? he has a 92 talon awd so he's goin to eventually have to do the same thing in the future. im not looking forward to this but if i can have a dsm that shifts perfect that would sure be awsome.
 
i've done this, i used the link for taboospeed shop and it was pretty easy using their directions. do urself a favor and pull the seat, this way you can lay on the floor to get to everything.
 
would a "busted" linkage cause lack of feel in the pedal my pedal feels as if nothing is attatched to it
