Old one only has 5 points to adjust by..... newer has 16

Old one you adjust the fuel for a set rpm only
New one gives you 8 adjustment points for low throttle, and 8 for high throttle.

Much eaiser to tune in driveability with bigger injectors




Oh yeah, old style can only lean out 30% whereas the new one can do 50%
 
Old school dsmers will tell you that the old style is actually a better unit just because it's way more simple to tune. Sure you can't fine tune like with the new style, but you did a good choice IMO. The AFC I have came off a 417whp '98 AWD talon that had 550's a 46 trim and small greddy. So yes it works.
