Hey guys,
So here's the deal, as most of u have seen the prices of gas is going up...it's up to 2.30/gal here in vt and last weekend i bought 93 octane @ 1.95. this is insane. Anyways i got a logger and posted them on here...i'm reading 0 knock all the time and my timing is where it's suppose to be a WOT. now i wana go down to a lower octane? just for a while till prices get better do u guys think this is a good idea. i wana try with 89 and monitor my knock and timing to see how things are going. i will only put like a gallon or 2 to see the log. I cant really offord paying 30 bucks a full tank right now for the car. if i'm able to run a lower octane safely then i'm gonna. Opinions are welcome! thanks

okay i understand about eh price but what about using lower octane do u think it's a good idea to run that in the engine if i monitor the engine closely?
