WEll, I'd love to be saying "lets get together and ride sometime." But of course I'm stuck saying "i have a blown head gasket, caused by who knows what, and my car is in the shop, again, after crankwalking three times...directly after i rebuilt the motor!!!!" I love my car. If i didnt id leave it! Anyone ever feel the pressure of the people they know surrounding their dms's? People always tell me to sell mine. LOL I should have my car back in about a month. Boooooo.

Hey, any of you still in Vermont? I just moved up to the Burlington area. Would love to meet up sometime if I can fix my damn car soon.

Wow never knew their were so many dsmers in vermont, if anyone ever whants to chill or cruise hit me up.

Greetings!
I am moving to the Williston, Vt area and I have a highly modified DSM. I am anxious to find a shop in the area where I can have it maintained without worrying that they will screw it up. Any recommendations?

My buddy and I live in Colchester. Our little group is EVTMotorsports

evtmotorsports.com

When you say ""highly" modified, lets hear what you have. As far as shops go, we usually do everything ourselves. I"m not sure there are any shops in the area I would trust. With the exception of Vermont Sports Car. However, they are somewhat I a different deal.

Thanks for the reply!
See my vehicle profile for list of mods.
In addition to custom mods, a lot of the standard parts have been replaced and transmission is rebuilt. Car has been repainted original rasberry red and looks great. It is a "sleeper" in the sense that it looks completely stock on the outside unless you happen to notice the 3 inch tail pipe!
I am not qualified to do this stuff, it was all professionally done. I hope to find people up there who can maintain it for me. We are moving to Williston this spring (May, June).
I don't race the car, but I love driving it.
Thanks for the reference to Vermont Sports Car in Colchester. From their web page, they sound really interesting. Will they work on my car?
Do you people at EVO Motor Sports do outside repair work? Or only work on your own cars?

Del

As Dan said, EVT Motorsports is the only thing up here as far as decent DSM work. There are a few others around that tinker with DSMs, but nothing that I would trust. We do outside work on just about anything. I have personally built my car from the ground up including transmission work, 8-point roll cage, rebuilt motor, chassis modifications, and more. We would be glad to meet up with you when you arrive up here and help you with DSM work. If you are interested, the Laser that I put together is here: http://www.vtrides.com/view_ride.php?id=3

As you can see, the car only went 11.8 but trapped ~123 (blowing off an IC pipe 3/4 down the track). I expect low 11s with new tires and with the setup we're putting in it for this summer, I wouldn't be suprised if the car went high 10s on the stock block.

Dan's (gotturbo11) car is shown here: http://www.vtrides.com/view_ride.php?id=37

Hope this helps! We'll be glad to help you whenever you get up here.
