I have looked at other quiet exhaust and have found none that are both cheap and look good. So, I have decided to just make my own. I would like to go with a dual tip muffler and the exhaust piping I will be using is 2.5 mandrel bent. I want it to be almost a quiet as stock at idle and up until about 5500+ after that I don't care. I need to know what kind of resonators I should be looking for and about how many would I use. Also where would be a good place to pick the resonators up. The resonators I really want are the ones with the stainless steel mesh inside cause the fiberglass ones I hear get empty after a while and the exhaust just sounds really bad. I anyone has any suggestions please feel free to chime in and give me a little guidance. Also if anyone knows a auto shop that would carry the resonators besides any exhaust shops cause I have already tried those. This is the muffler I will be using.

I would rather not use those because they have the little louvers in them that make it look like it would slow the air flow. I would like to find some that have the stainless mesh inside a perforated core like Ebay high flow cat.

I would use empty cans from the trash at RRE before I would use anything on eBay. eBay is full of crap being sold by shifty individuals in the interest of making money. RRE is in the business of selling DSMers those parts which will provide the most power at the best prices. Tuning DSMs is their business, but if you'd rather get some generic or used shit off eBay, go for it. It's just an exhaust. Not very critical.

I am not saying RRE has junk(definately not!!) but the resonaters are the ones that look to slow the airflow becuase when you look through it, it resembles a cheese grater. I have no flow charts or anything to suport my theory so all I am asking is please help me be sure that it won't slow the air flow and to ease my mind. Also how many should I use because I don't want it to be loud or ricey sounding at all. Thanks DR1665.
