Hey guys, just curious what you think or have experienced. I am about to get my Aeromotive A1000 -6 FRP here very soon in the mail and along with that the pressure guage and install kit from the stock fuel rail. Should I install this now before I put in the Walbro 255 and turbo ??? Any known befits such as steadier idle , etc??? or is it pointless until those items are installed? Thanks for the input.

Like they said, there aren't really any benefits to installing it before all that, you would just set the Aeromotive to the car's base pressure. They only way you're going to notice any benefit is if your stock FPR wasn't functioning correctly in the first place. The only other benefit that I can see besides that would be that you've got the install out of the way and don't have to worry about installing it later, giving you more time to complete your fuel pump and turbo installs!

Edit: After re-reading your thread it appears you wanted to know about putting the fuel pump and AFPR in before your turbo and whether there would be any benefit. The answer to this, is only if you are hitting fuel cut or having some other sort of fuel starvation problem. (Even so, you would want to do some tuning at this point, and if you don't have the tools to do so, you might want to wait until you do. (MAFT, SAFC, DSMLink, etc.)

no benifit for now, just make sure you have all fittings and lines before taking things apart. also figure out how you're going to run your return line. if you going to use stock return line, you can use earls fitting 360104ERL. -4an to stock aluminum tubing. thats what i'm running on my aeromitive a1000-6 fpr.
