first off im not sure if this should go in the newbie section or here.if im wrong please move thread. my question is if i were to use the 5 speed ecu in my automatic will this work? also, since the 5 speeds have bigger injectors would doing this make my injectors act as if they were 550's?the reason i am asking all this is because i can get 1g ecu's for next to nothing!

nope, the drivetrain and turboed and non turbo have to stick together
ie
Manual wont work in an auto, and vise versa
non turbo wont work in a turbo(heh, well it does, its just really funny when you start to get boost. LOL you cant even drive it anywhere, and it loves to back fire) , and vise versa

but i do think this is the wrong section.

anyone know what the premium line and high line ECUs are about? I have a spare ECU but it says its the high line MT 90 ECU. WTF does the premium mean? Also, any harm in running a California ECU in a Federal car?
