So i f'd up my ball joint boots, and one of my steering nuckle boots. What can i do to fix this? I went by my locate parts house's and they said they couldn't just sell me the boot or even the joint, they have to sell me the whole lower or upper assembily. does anyone know what i can do to fix this problem? or where i can buy the boots, or what ever i have to do.

what do you mean by boot, if it is the rubber around the upper part of the ball joint, then yes the ball joint can be replaced, instead of buying a new control are, parts stors will carry the ball joint sereratly. you will have to get the old ones out. you can rent a ball joint puller or buy one, from a parts store. or use a impact hammer and hammer the old ones out, and use the puller to put the new ones in. if you heat the old ball joint up while in the arm, it will come out easyer.

Mitsu sells just the boots I got them for my 92 TSi Awd.

They are only like 8 bucks. Check with the dealer.

yeah i really will have to check the dealer, but yeah mine is a second gen, so the boots may not be so prominent. but hopefully they are.

Go to a dealer, I was able to get a 2g OEM ball-joint boot. I think it ran $6-$8. The boot is stretch fit, and I found using a large socket that fit over the outside area of the ball joint worked perfectly to slip it on.
