I have a datalog cord off of Ebay and a palm cable that splits up into a DB9 pin connector and a usb connector. It is pretty useful you would think. It has both connecters. I hook up the datalog cord into the diag port and up to my cable into my palm. Thing is, it doesnt work. I tried both MMCD and Tunerstein. I did remember to check off pause as well. STill no work. Is it just the split cable that is not compatible or is it the datalog cord off ebay? I havent tried it with a single cable yet. Someone with experience let me know. I cant afford to get a single cable at the moment.

I have a split USB and serial cable on my homemade datalogger cable and it works just fine. I'm using MMCD too. :thumb:

I read on fullthrottle tech forums that people have had problems with the Tunerstein program (specifically the readings are different v.s. TMO). As I recall the guy had problems when he tuned the car according to Tunerstein, but when he used TMO the car worked fine.
