Hey I just checked CAPS and was unable to duplicate your findings.

The part number I found for the Diamante calipers was MB857838. When I checked what cars this part came on it only brought up the Diamante, Diamante Wagon, and NT 3000GT (1st picture below).

When I looked up the 93+ AWD calipers the part number was MB699451. When I checked the part applications for this it only brought up the 1GB AWD and the Galant VR4 (2nd picture below).

I'm not saying that the Diamante, 3000GT calipers won't work as I've heard of them being used in the past.
