I recently purchased DSMLink and the car has been running fine with the current settings; however, today when I tried to connect my laptop to the OBD II port I was unable to communicate with the ECU. I thought the problem may have been my serial to USB adapter so I took the car to advance to see if they could pull any codes from the ECU. They were also unable to connect to the ECU.
Here is my mod list:
DSMLink V2
FP Big T28
Apexi FMIC
Evo Manifold
External dump O2 housing
3" turbo back exhaust
Shep built tranny
GM Maf and translator
RC 550 injectors
RFL BOV
DSBC
I am really at a loss as to where to begin trouble shooting. I suppose if I had a pin out of the OBD II port I would be able to trace each wire. I am really concerned that the previous owner may have 'modded' the OBD II port for some strange reason. Just about everything else on this car had been 'modded', even the leopard print headliner
. ANy help would be greatly appreciated.
