Okay, searching through the forum, I have not found the true answer to this question. Is porting a stock 2g Exhaust manifold the best way to go, or purchasing a new Evo Manifold or Tubular Exhaust manifold better. I see that other threads have been asked concering this issue, but people go back and forth about porting and going tubular. I understand that heat is critical, as well as several other variables are too so we don't need to discuss those too, but when it comes down to it, which is better.
Right now, I am about to put the full Apexi 3" Downpipe and exhaust on my 1996 GST, and I want to go well beyong the 300 HP when it comes down to power and speed. But I still don't know which way to go. I will definitely be replacing the stock turbo down the road, (sooner than later), and am also going to go with the EVO o2 sensor housing, dejon tool misc, so I just need to know what to do with my Exhaust Manifold. Please help.
