go ahead and grab it, I'm really broke right now so :( More will come around I'm sure.

BTW, where do those plugs go to anyway?

Complete horseshit, it's a resistor that goes in circuit with your air temperature sensor and make the car run on "choke" all the time.

Don't.

"German Engineered". Yeah, my ass.

woah, i know about the resistor mod. This thing is a box though, I figured it might be different.

Its a box with a resistor :p

im going to start seling performans stuff soon It ll give u about 10 HP and it ll be cheep it is invented from African enginears from Nigeria, instalation is simple no tools requierd just pluged in ur ass and u ll smoke ur own car.The amaizing product is comming soo PLZ stay tunned

the AFX race computer? yah I saw that, supposed to give like 15 to the wheels. I'm just worried about the increased rev limiter, and the fact that I might be running nitrous later, so I don't know how that ecu interacts with nitrous.

hey i have a 1995 eclipse RS and i want to know how to remove the rev limiter and weather it is worth it to or not. i want to also remove the speed limiter.. i think the only way to remove it is to buy a EMS is that true?:dsm:

Well if you get the street unit its like 15whp, but if you get the RACE UNIT which requires that you have upgraded cams headwork, ported tb and intake mani, upgraded valve train, etc, that one is supposed to give you around 40whp. But from what i hear, you cant use either with nitrous due to the advanced timing. Call howell and ask for sure though.

Well, I bought the resistor in a box mod: MOD . I haven't installed it yet but when/if I do I will be going on a drive previous to installing the mod and loggin various fuel values. Then, I will install the mod and then take the same drive with the same engine temps and log the values again. Then I will hopefully be able to provide some statistics on this mod. I will keep you posted. Also, thought the "German Engineered" one sounded kind of funny for a Japanese car.. LOL

The cars are AMERICAN, the engines and transmissions are Jaap. Federally classified as "Domestic".

After your tests, hammer that thing apart and tell us what was inside.

Well the 2gnt's don't have a speed limiter so you don't have to worry about that. Also it is my understanding that even with the higher redline in the AFX ECU, you can't get there because your fuel gets cut at 7200 rpm.

fuel cuts at 7200 along with spark BECAUSE of the rev limiter, getting rid of it (or changing it's value) means you can exceed it.

Go to radio shack and buy a 1000 OHM resistor plug it into your IAT(Intake Air Temp.) sensor and be done with it. Same gains wouldnt recomend it if concerned with gas milage.:barf:

For my fellow DSM'ers only. I used to sell or give out these instructions to people to do this "mod" i didn't find any real power gains... but in theory it sounds like a good idea. The instructions are on the website below if you are interested

thanks bro i have been lookin for this for a long time :thumb: i found a resistor at home(the correct one, my dads an electrician and has tons of em...) but where do i place it? i cant find my iat!!! any help would be appreciated....
