Ok Guys n girls,

FINALLY I have found a set of rims I like for my car. ALT Sonix 18X7.5 rims in Carbone Black

I believe they are offset of 42, with 225/40/18 rims

(is the offset good?)

im always honest with you rick.. I dont like them really. BUT! as long as you do, then its all gravy

Your offset is good

i'm more of a fan of a glossier black.
I had these on my n/t ride. Same thing but very glossy compared to carbon black.

I plan on getting this custom exhaust to match it.

Its been a while but I wanna say it was like $450 for the set of 4 for the 17's that weighed about 17 pounds. I now have a different style of that same wheel brand in hyperblack/silver but I think i'm gonna get rid of them to go back to the gloss black color for my particular car. My wheels right now are the same brand but are 18's that weigh 18-19 pounds and go for $550 for a set of four.

Im having a hell of a time deciding whether i should stay with my current wheel or sell it to get the same exact wheel but in gloss black again. I've had about 4 eclipse/talon owners ask me where they can get the same wheels in the last week or two though :).

----There was just a post about someone not happy with their carbon black wheel because they look a lot duller in real life then in the photo on alts website. Was that you that wrote that? or someone else.

Hope you decide, I know it can be a pain.

Wasnt me that said it but i heard it and I can totally see that with the way the picture is portrayed.

im SO GLAD you posted because I would have bought them sometime, (when i finally get the cash dammit) and been unhappy cause they arent what I need.

I need the Gloss Black in 18s as well. What Brand/Name are they called that your considering. I should see about becomming a dealer for them to get em cheaper!

any more pics of the gloss black ones? Everyday I wake I go and drive the car to work and I can feel how much more deflated they are. arrgg :(

A carbon or graphite would look really nice....
There won't be such a dramatic difference between the tire, ugly color, and the rim...
A deep bronze color would be so sick with a black car....

inner polished lip - i like it!
you should wraps some 225/45s on those.. i think ones you have now are too thin. youre still getting wheel gap and looks like you dropped atleast 1.5".

other than that, good job on pulling some new rims! :dsm:

The design is good, but I never really liked the idea of driving on rubber bands...

Sometimes, a larger diameter rim with 18"'s and up, with a short, 35 and below, profile tire look awsome on a lowered ride with "limited" street use. But for "everyday" purposes, one might want to choose the proper rim width, tire width to height ratio to allow for those chance incounters with the occasional road hazard; potholes and such.

Nice rims!! Great ride :thumb: , and hopefully I will have some on my ride(1G FWD Turbo) for my birthday in October. I'm looking at a 18X8 rim with a 235 40 tire aspect. I want to use an adjustable spring setup combined with some adjustable shocks to help me dial in a semi compliant street setting that doesn't have annoying clearance issues.
Not quite sure of the brands and vendors, money dictates; but these same rims are suddenly on my list of possibilties.
Once again, your ride is hot,
:laser: :dsm: :talon:

thanks guys for so many compliments, It makes me feel good and smile to know im going somewhere with my car. :)

Thanks a milllion times.

More pics on ALT sonixs.
Im no longer intrested in getting these because they are too matte for my tastes, I want chrome like cuttheduck posted. What brand are those!!!
