I have been having real trouble starting my car lately, I've finally noticed that the gauges don't "zero out" whenever I turn the key on SOMETIMES and the CEL stays on. But whenever they do zero out and CEL goes off, it starts just like normal. Does anyone know what this could be? Alot of times while I try to start with the CEL still on I can hear a sound like the injectors are staying on and even if I turn the key off it usually stay on for a good 5 more seconds, any ideas on that??? I'm totally lost so any help would be great.
Car is totally stock btw.

Everyone tells me that but I just don't see how the ECU has ever been a too common of a problem in any car. I suppose I can try that if I can find a freakin ECU for a 90 TSi AWD 5 speed.
