Stiff Pedals

this isnt big but i was wondering if i can do something about it. my gas pedal seems pretty stiff, i like how honda and volkswagen pedals are smoother and move easier, can i do this to my GSX ?

I'm in the same boat. I'm use to driving Hondas and the gas pedals are much smoother and easier to push. The gas pedal in my 95 GSX is very stiff in comparison. I wish I knew if this was normal or not, it doesn't feel like it to me. Is there any way to adjust it?

i bought a 98 spyder gst today and my gass pedal is the same way i thought it was just my car, glad it isnt

i suppose you could mess with the spring at the throttle body..

though it's all relative. I get in a honda and am like "why does the gas pedal feal like a fisher price toy?"

So I should assume the stiffer gas pedal is normal? Maybe I can have someone who owns a 2g drive it and see what they think.

i have the same problem but only if i dont use the clutch. if i use my clutch before i push the gas its easy but if i dont push clutch and only push gas pedal its stiff any one know how to fix this?

Check to make sure there are no foreign objects in the pedals. Could be as simple as a wire getting in the way.

I've never thought my gas pedal was hard at all but then again I wouldn't know compared to a Honda . Try some wd40 and play with the cable it can get hung up or become stiff over time.

my gas pedal is easy when applying the clutch then gas but pushing just gas its stiff

I plan on putting a gas pedal in from a type 1 sedan bug

Even though I'm in a RS and not having pedal issues but I like the ideal of the pedal

fixed my stuff pedal was my tb plate was dragging on the in side of the tb simple fix just loosing two screws that hold the plate just a little bit hit the gas few times then tighting
