The Crush Washers make ALL the difference - the holes in the Oil Pan are THRU holes so the Washers perform the only seal at the Bolt Holes on Flange - If you happen to strip out the Threads in the Oil Pan like I did go with American 1/4 -20 Threads - I then used the "eye" off a Copper Electrical Lug for the Crush washer - worked great - No leaks after thousands of miles. No need to drain all Oil - Just put the Front wheels on Car Ramps & you only lose about 1/2 Quart.

The POS Aluminum $50 Stock Turbo Oil Return Line is well known for developing cracks in the Flex area so that can be a PITA oil leak source too. There are better designed Aftermarket pieces out there at similar cost.
