Im sorry but stupid exhuast question--

I hat to ask something like this but i cant find anyone that's tried this. So it probably means its very stupid, but.....Can i run a 3" exhaust all the way down (no cat just a resignator) into the stock gst muffler ? Will this cause alot of back pressure in the exhaust and will it sound like hell? (im really wanting to keep her appearing stock)Please dont flame on this one---Tony

it would suck because it would have to flange down to like 2" or watever the stock exhaust is. what u can do is just run it how u want it and just buy a dual muffler tip, one that looks almost stock, and have it welded on. i have a friend that did that, but it was loud as a mo'fo.
