- When I bought the car my dad was wasted and we drove out to this guy's apartment, looking at a nice looking eclipse. Not realizing what I was looking at we took it for a test drive and drove it for awhile. Dad wasn't satisfied with my driving, so we switched spots. He found that it gets "up-to-speed" very quickly and decided how great an idea it would be to power slide the vehicle at 30mph, into the lane next to us on a small road, (very well I might add) then taking off back the way we came. Coming back into the apartment we bought it for half his asking price, due to no title. So began a long month long scandal of trying to get the title. Finally we got that gave him the rest of the money and there I had a car with 105,000 miles, passes emissions and is in decent shape. My future plans are to buy supporting mods to increase its natural aspiration performance before turboing, my final goals are to make it a race car holding onto it for life.
