Background
I purchased my 1g about 2.5 years ago and have daily driven it since. It is my only car and has been my only car for 2.5 years. It has been a rough journy let me tell you. My GSX has been through it all, including wheel bearing failures, a transmission explosion, a multitude of slave and master cylinder failures, many alternator failures, driveshaft u joint failure, carrier bearing disasters, multiple T-Case failures and lock-ups, injector failures (3 clyinders on the highway = quick break in for poly motor mounts), horrible oil and coolant leaks, power steering pump spewing fluid, oil pressure sender unit explosion, hood flipping up on highway and smashing windshield and sunroof in and denting the roof, getting in a car accident which bent the frame and now the exhaust hanger weld are snapping and the exhaust is about to fall off. There is even more, but the point is that I still drive this thing to work every day as it reaches almost 230K.
