- Got it cheap wanted back in the tuner game and my bro told me to get an eclipse. He has roughly 520whp so I thought that would be cool to have but would settle for 400ish. Well got the car started to do all the maintenance on and the motor started to knock after only 184 miles of me owning it. Well started to look for replacement 4g63t and couldn't find one for under 1000 most were about 2k for a used built one or a stock rebuild. Ended up finding a GSX with a busted quarter panel and faded paint. So I bought it to fix my spyder and do the awd swap which was my plan for 2 years down the road but this opportunity came before the engine build. Going to slowly build the original motor for 400+ hp goals during the next few years.
